Laurie is an artist who paints primarily in a surrealist fashion. He has a strong interest in how we as a species fit into the landscape, both physically and emotionally. Laurie likes to temper these painterly observations with irony and sometimes dark humour, leaving the interpretation of the work to the viewer: for example, a horizon line could be a part of the simple landscape or a plane of your sub-conscious filled with metaphors. Posa's work is held in public and private collections in Australia and overseas.
