Kerry Brooks is an Australian artist who employs painting and drawing as her dominant media of choice. Kerry's works are expressive in form and sensuality, and often depict a female form by way of fluid black lines or vivid colour palettes.
Kerry graduated with an honours degree in Interior Architecture from Curtin University (2004) before spending an extensive time living and working abroad in the Netherlands, France and Canada.
Kerry now resides in Margaret River. Since starting her own business in 2010 she has been enjoying the mix of working with design clients and art-making for her latest exhibition or private commissions.
“I am inspired by every version of woman in today's society and drawn to the beauty and rhythm of the female body. These artworks explore feminine beauty and power in every individual, suggested by a lone figure that is central to my works, and a stylised simplicity of form.”
