Honor Denby

Margaret River artist Honor Denby is known for exploring a range of subjects and mediums in order to build on her fascinating and eclectic portfolio of works. From oil to acrylic, or resin to fabric sculpture, Honor has a strong interest in exploring different styles and materials. Honor’s style generally tends towards the impressionistic, and she frequently represents nature and the human form through her art.

Honor has been painting since school and her art, although occasionally taking a backseat to other demands of life, has been a constant since childhood. Honor believes that her art is continually evolving, so she feeds her growth and stylistic changes by participating in ongoing learning opportunities. She enjoys the excitement of tackling a diversity of subjects and the challenge of selecting the right media for each project.

In recent years Honor has begun to explore and perfect the art of resin, mosaics, metal work and fabric sculpture, becoming an expert in the application of the renowned Powertex product. She runs workshops to train students in her hometown of Margaret River, Western Australia and has begun to supply her products to the demands of her international customer base.

Honor is a popular and prolific artist with her art represented in a range of exhibitions and displays each year. To view Honor Lovis’ artworks or enquire about a personalised workshop please contact her via the details below.
