Britta Sorensen

Story telling and free weaving have a lot in common... Britta creates experiential interactive installations using recycled materials, preferably textiles.

She shares a space and an immersive experience with the audience in an explorative process that reaches much deeper than visual consumption of art. It is about affecting and being affected, about leaving behind traces and taking with you feelings, memories and new perspectives. The interaction, the sharing is what is exciting - the outcome is not pre-imagined or projected; it follows the process and evolves into its own being often turning out stunningly vibrant and energetic.
